Afghanistan

The founders of the IIHE have long carried out a number of projects in Afghanistan, including a number with the the Partnership of Ghalib University and Kateb University in Kabul and collaborations with the Ministry of Health. These have addressed:

  • Advancing Structural Interventions to Address the Political Economy Surrounding Intravenous Drug Users in Afghanistan
  • HIV and Immigration in Afghanistan
  • Migration, Displacement, and Risk of Blood-Borne Diseases among Afghan Drug Users
  • Policy and Cultural Factors Affecting Drug Treatment Services in Afghanistan: An Ecological Approach
